From time to time, Mela Purdie releases the Soft Nomad Pant in Maché. It is an occasional fashion version, rather than the continuing Microprene Essential.

Maché is a Japanese technical woven fabric with a fluid fall. Unlike stretch Microprene, it is non-stretch: the elasticated waist and the cut provide ease, while the fabric moves and drapes differently through the leg.

Choose between them by how you want the outfit to feel. Microprene offers cotton-rich stretch with a crisper, more defined line. A Maché Soft Nomad offers a softer, flowing interpretation that is worth considering with a blouse when you want a dressier finish.

An Essential Shape with New Colours to Explore
