The Foil Slay The Soiree Dress in Bohemia has the polish of a shirt dress, but the soft, flowing fabric and exuberant print stop it from feeling overly structured. It is an easy choice for weddings, celebrations and summer lunches when you want to look dressed for the occasion without wearing something rigid or overly formal.
The Bohemia print mixes pink, aqua, olive and warm neutral tones in an intricate botanical pattern. There is plenty happening in the print, but the longer midi silhouette gives it room to work rather than overwhelming the dress.
The classic collar and button-through front give the upper body definition, while the skirt falls into a flowing shape below the waist. A soft coordinating belt is included, so you can define the waist as shown or adjust the tie depending on how much shape you prefer.
The three-quarter sleeves are particularly useful for an occasion dress, providing arm coverage while keeping the overall look light enough for warmer weather.
The outer dress is made from 82% Tencel and 18% nylon and comes with a 100% cotton pink slip, giving you the light appearance of the printed outer layer with coverage underneath.
For an event, let the print do the work: a simple neutral, tan or metallic shoe and restrained jewellery are enough. For a summer lunch, a low wedge or flat sandal takes some of the formality out of it.
