Cheryl Hay Hendry began offering inspired fashion everyday as Papershop Fashions in Dongara in 1980 and Saturdays & Fridays in Geraldton in 1985.
She opened the first Weekends Boutique in Fremantle in 1995 & Subiaco in 1996 and has been involved many many community fashion parades over these years.
In 2019 Cheryl retired and Aimee, Alex & Riley purchased Weekends' online business. As a previous employee of Weekends, Aimee was keen to keep this stalwart of the Perth fashion landscape living on, if only online.
As with many businesses, we had to pivot when COVID-19 hit our capacity to fulfil customer orders. We needed to rethink the way we were doing business and how best to provide the service we wanted to offer our customers.
Where we were operating with minimal stock holdings we decided we had to hold our own stock in Perth, which meant we either rented warehouse space and continued with online sales only or launch a shopfront to allow our customers to come and shop with us in a more traditional format.
Our decision to open a shopfront has been one of the best we could have made simply because it is so wonderful to meet our customers in person!
Just like it's early days, the Weekends name will always evoke the spirit of relaxed weekends and our selection of clothing epitomises this sense of comfort, style, elegance, relaxation, movement and fun. Simply put, Weekends offers inspired fashion everyday.

We stock a range of beautiful garments, catering to modern-day women, offering you more than just clothes, we offer you an experience. We stock fashion labels that run from size 6 through to size 24.
Our emphasis is on exceptional customer service, our staff feel like family, and our clients, our closest friends. We take the time to understand what you need and prefer, whether you’re dressing for a special occasion, or you just want to look and feel your best every day.
At Weekends we offer real old fashioned service to our customers. Everyone who visits us in store is greeted with a smile. We have made it our mission to dress women of all shapes and sizes in fashion that flatters and leaves them feeling fabulous.
We offer free personal fittings either by appointment or walk-in. Come in, say hi, and let us get to know you and your sense of style. When you come into our store, think of our expert staff as your very own personal stylists. We have a great range in store, and the best part is, our labels can be mixed and matched to help you get the most out of every garment.
Every label Weekends stocks is carefully curated by Aimee and Alex. They understand it's important to have a collection with a diverse range of styles and sizes to suit women of all shapes and sizes, no matter what stage of life you are at you'll always find something new and different in store.
Where we can, we choose Australian owned & designed labels. While many labels can not be made here in Australia, supporting these labels helps support the Australian fashion industry and local jobs.
We also source international labels with the majority designed and made in their country of origin.
