This is floral without any of the sweetness. Desigual takes a garden motif into much deeper territory, layering saturated blues, turquoise and green across a dark ground to create a print that feels almost painterly.
The Fine Garden Flowers Sweater is made from a fine viscose-blend knit, giving you a lighter, less bulky alternative to a conventional jumper. The fabric composition is 82% viscose and 18% polyamide.
The silhouette itself is deliberately uncomplicated. A round neckline, long sleeves and regular fit give the artwork a clean canvas and make this an easy piece to wear without having to think too hard about what goes underneath it.
The dark-toned floral print moves across the entire sweater rather than sitting as a single placement motif. Deep blue is punctuated with turquoise, green and violet tones, creating depth without introducing a conventional multicoloured floral palette.
It's particularly good with denim, where the blues connect without looking overly coordinated. Alternatively, put it with a plain dark trouser and allow the colour in the knit to become the entire point of the outfit.
